We may not be able to control the weather, but below is some advice to keep your Zephyr® solar panels working as efficiently and effectively as possible during the winter months.
- Clean the panels every 6 months if possible. Use wet wipes or spray with cloth to remove any bird mess and dust
- Check the orientation of your panel. In the northern hemisphere, choose south facing
- Adjust the tilt. The optimum winter angle in mid-latitudes is 65° from horizontal
- Clear any obstructing vegetation if possible, or consider moving the panel and/or Zephyr if the vegetation is overgrown and cannot be cleared
